BIOGRAPHY ( Japanese )
| 1954 | Born
September 20th 1954 in Luton, a town north of London,
England. Father - Kenneth Edwin White (1924-2000), Mother - Gilberte (French) Peter and his family moved soon after his birth to nearby Letchworth. |

| 1959 | His brother Danny was born August 26th. | |
| His
father encouraged him to learn musical instrument. He started playing the recorder, clarinet, cornet, trombone,violin,harmonica, piano,but the one instrument his father couldn't help him with was the guitar. Peter was on his own. He bought his very first LP from his friend - The Beatles "Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band" In his early teens, he acquired his first electric guitar and amplifier, which survived just long enough to be burnt in a fire. After the smoke cleared away he was left with his only other guitar- an acoustic. He developed a love of acoustic music. |

| 1973 | Peter worked
for a few months in a soup canning factory while waiting
for his first musical break. |

| 1974 | Peter's first
professional engagement, playing guitar in a dance band
in Cornwall, in the South West of England. |

| 1975 | He got an audition call
to back Al Stewart on keyboards. Al invited Peter to join his band, and very soon Peter was touring up and down England and then soon, all over the USA. Al then asked Peter to play keyboards and acoustic guitar on his "Year of the Cat" album which was released a year later in 1976. Their collaboration lasted almost 20 years. |

| 1978 | Peter moved to Los Angeles where Al Stewart had relocated. | |
| 1979 | Al Stewart toured Japan for the first time. | |
| 1980 | Peter formed a band called Shot in the Dark. / Album"Shot in the Dark"(1981) | |
| 1984 | His brother Danny formed the group Matt Bianco. | |
| 1987 | Danny and Basia left the group. | |
| 1990 | Peter
had released his first solo CD, "Reveillez-Vous" (Chase) Steve Chapman became Peter's manager. He started playing with his own band. Peter toured with Danny and Basia.

| 1991 | Al and Peter
